SNAP Exam Eligibility Criteria 2024:

It is mandatory to fulfil the below eligibility criteria to fill SNAP application form:

The candidate must have obtained his undergraduate degree from a recognized university..
Those belonging to the general category must have obtained at least 50% in the undergraduate degree.
Candidates in the SC or ST category must have obtained at least 45% of the marks in the undergraduate degree/ certificate.
Candidates who have studied in a foreign (international) university are also eligible to apply. They have to obtain the AIU certificate (Association of Indian University) to be able to fill the application form.
Those who are in the final year of graduation can also apply for the SNAP exam.

SNAP exam has 60 MCQs and every question carries 2 mark. Earlier, there was differential marking in SNAP exam, but in 2020 the marking scheme was revised and every question across sections was allotted 1 mark. You can read the SNAP marking scheme given below:

Each question carries 1 mark for correct attempt
For every wrong attempt, 1/4^th marks are deducted
The General English section is of 15 marks

Candidates scoring 45-50 out of 60 can hope for getting a good percentile.

What is the selection procedure for SNAP 2023?

SNAP is held for admission to postgraduate management or master’s programs offered by Symbiosis International and its affiliated institutions. Once the result is declared, each college announces the SNAP Cut-off. Based on the cut off scores, candidates are shortlisted for GE/ PI rounds of selection. Post the conclusion of the selection rounds, the final merit list is released based on SNAP scores, GE-PI scores, academic record, work experience, etc.
